Support Sociology at UNCG

We need your help to make an impact in our classrooms and communities! Support the Sociology Department by using our online form and your Visa or MasterCard – it’s as easy as that! The Sociology Enrichment Fund supports activities held throughout the year for undergraduate and graduate students. These funds have been used to support student travel to conferences and symposia, student research activities, invited lectures by experts in our field, the annual end-of-year Honors/AKD luncheon, and our graduation celebration.

The David F. Mitchell Sociology Fund was established in 2011 in honor and memory of Dr. Mitchell after his untimely death in 2010. David Mitchell was a beloved colleague who served Sociology and UNCG for 39 years. In recognition of his unwavering dedication to his students, his loved ones and friends established this memorial fund to recognize those students who show the most promise in statistical analyses through a prize and scholarship.

Other ideas? You also may create your own designation for your donation if you have particular programs and initiatives you would like to support.
