Tiffany Merritt to Graduate with Disciplinary Honors

Student Tiffany Merritt, a member of the Disciplinary honors Program at UNCG, will graduate with honors in December of this year.

In order to be admitted to the Disciplinary Honors Program a student must have at least a 3.30 GPA. Disciplinary Honors gives students the opportunity to take additional courses with significantly higher standards in their area of study. Students also must complete a Senior Honors Project.

Tiffany worked with Dr. Saundra Westervelt of the Sociology department on her honors project thesis entitled, “”The Aftermath of Wrongful Conviction in NC and the State’s Reparations for the Harm Caused”.

The entire Sociology Department offers Tiffany a big congratulations on her very fine achievement!
