Jaheera White, BA ’12

I decided not to go to law school right out of undergrad because I found out how expensive law school is and how poor I was. So, I moved to Miami to work with Americorps and the non-profit sector. During that time, I found that I did not want to pursue law school. I fell in love with the world of Organizational Development. RJ (another sociology alumni) and I are now married and living in San Diego California where I work for Comic-Con as the assistant to the Executive Director. I plan to start the process of getting my Masters in Organizational Development in the spring at the University of Louisville. I really believe in helping organizations understand that professionally training and developing staff will not only help their company but also help their employees feel valued and confident.
