Cindy Brooks Dollar, BA ’99 and MA ’01

I completed by MA at UNCG with a thesis entitled, “Spousal Homicide Trials: A Socio-legal Analysis.” After finishing my MA, I worked as a survey research specialist for RTI International and with civil law attorneys to promote an understanding of how sociology influences law.  In 2009, I enrolled in the Ph.D. program at North Carolina State University and completed that program in 2014. I just took a new position back home as an Assistant Professor at UNCG! My research interests focus on inequality, deviance, and social control.
