I graduated from the Sociology department in May 2012 with a concentration in Criminology. Since then I have gone on to obtain my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2016) and Doctorate of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counselor Education (2019) from NC A&T State University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor, providing mental health services to children and families who have been involved with juvenile justice system and families who have been impacted by cancer and other medical diagnosis. I have also accepted a position as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Director of Clinical Mental Health Counseling in the Graduate School of Counseling at George Fox University in Portland Oregon.
