Kelton Hollister Wins MLK Service Award

The Sociology Department congratulates major Kelton Hollister for winning the MLK Jr. Service award on January 23 during the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration event. The annual award is presented to a student at UNCG whose community activities and involvement embody the spirit of Dr. King’s service to humanity.

Kelton is currently a peer educator for UNCG’s Kaleidoscope program and the head officer of Trans*Form UNCG, an organization serving the needs of the university’s transgender, genderqueer and gender-noncomforming population.
