Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

Teaching Sociology

We offer an 18-credit-hour certificate in Teaching Sociology, available to students enrolled in a UNCG graduate degree program as well as students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and wish to enroll at UNCG as a certificate status student.

Because the requirements to teach sociology at the college level are frequently 18 hours of graduate course work, this certificate aims to satisfy those employment requirements, and to prepare graduates to teach Sociology at the college level.
