Dana returned to teaching and the Sociology Department at UNC Greensboro after serving for 6 years as Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor. Prior to her time at UNCG, she was a faculty member and also Provost at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dana has published and conducted research on gender inequality with a focus on the workplace. Representative publications include: “The Methodological Inclinations of Gender Scholarship in Mainstream Sociology Journals.” In Sociological Spectrum, Vol 20, No.2, 2000 (with D.
